Well, Denis, I think it's great, innovative and unusual!

Works for me. Leaving the cars in pale monochrome allows the eye to ficus and the sunlit stone buildings.

I’m not sure about this one. I sketched this group of buildings in Hawes a couple of weeks ago and decided to work the sketch up into a finished painting. I made my mind up to work on a sheet of crumpled tissue paper , straightened out of course, and glued to a sheet of Bockingford. Although I am pleased with some of the textures obtained, I do find it so much easier to determine proportions and perspective when working in front of the subject. Somehow, I think this picture is ‘lacking’ but it is no bad thing to try something different. What thinkest thou??
