Interesting view, most people would have painted the bridge face on. A refreshing change, well executed.

Wonderful painting, Denis. The contrasting light and shadows are great, with the wall and houses on the right working a treat. The sun catches them perfectly. Everything is suggested, from the foreground to the background, with all the activity taking place in the middle. That little huddle of movement brings the painting to life, and the surrounding scene supports the believability very well indeed. The water glare is top notch. Great work all round. Brian
