Near The Harbour Masters Office, St.Ives.
I recall sketching this one lovely day in March some fifteen years ago, I was staying a couple of miles down the coast in Carbis Bay and I’d walked into town to spend the day with my sketch book. This is a much painted scene and I know why. The only bad thing I remember about that day is that some naughty individual cloned my credit card and cleaned out my bank account. I don’t often use my sketches from which to produce a finished picture but I did use this one. It turned out well.
