Thanks everyone for your complimentary comments. I do a lot of my work outdoors. I much prefer to work from "life". For years now, I have met up with painter friends and had a week in some place with lots of subject matter - the Lakes, North Yorkshire, the East Coast. Until my age prevented it, I had some fantastic painting holidays in New England, Monhegan, Tuscany, Provence. Iv'e been extremely lucky. I'll dig out some other examples of my plain aire painting if you are interested.
