YOu got it perfectly; this is brilliant. The expressions and even the distance between them speaks a thousand words. I don't see absolute teenage rebellion but I do see loving annoyance at young sister.

Agree with Diana, and how marvellously the eyes of both girls capture this sentiment - I've seen this expression many, many times. Did you work from a photograph and sketches or a pose?

Hi Lesley, thanks for your comments, I work from both sketches and photos, its hard trying to get them to keep still for long so i use photographs for the smaller details..

Really like your work, i prefer to work from life rather than photos, it can be difficult to draw children as they can get tired or bored quite quickly. I found i needed to learn to draw faster and so set myself exercises to speed up, i found this useful when drawing animals as they have a tendency to move.. hope to see more of your work soon
