A Secret by Deborah Cauchi

Does it mean that your background (blue and walls) are a reflection? I must say that I like it as is. It has great atmosphere in it and has a mood which I like. Deborah Cauchi ..... Maltese ???

Hi Anthony, thanks for your comments.. As to the background: the blue is blue gloss paint painted on the back of the glass, I then paint on the other side ..this gives a mirror effect but causes problems when photographing the painting.. So yes the Walls etc are reflections.. And yes the surname is Maltese, my husband is Maltese..still has family over there.

Pity about the reflection ..... I like it as part of the painting. What with the door behind the head, the shadow behind the shoulder and the depth of perspective....... One solution for the reflections is to get a polarizing filter in front of the lens
