Captivating

As someone that has suffered depression for many years, I think you have captured the sense of isolation really well. Quite apart from that, this is a beautiful painting in it's own right. Indeed, in my humble and unschooled opinion, this series is without doubt your best work on show here.

wow , thank you all for the wonderful comments. Tony again thank you , must admit i am really pleased at this new direct in my work. Having suffered from this illness myself and also seeing others suffer makes it very personal to me which i think can only come out when producing the pieces. This one is actually a work in progress but i have had so many comments on it as it is now i'm tempted to step back from it and leave it like this.
