I was excited by a new style for these two paintings. This was my second version before the pastel. I have been inspired by the pastels of Jenny Keal the wife to David Bellamy. I have also been inspired by an abstract realistic style. The crofthouses were on the horizon, then I created by colour cohesion and aesthetic blending from my imagination of the first drawing for the background.
