Surfing of the Wave
This was a big splash of the wave up against a rock face at a beautiful scenic open space at Mealasta, Isle of Lewis. I have lived on the Hebrides for 20 years. I love to watch the sea like this for hours. Painting the sea can go on for infinite. I have been experimenting with painting the sea using inspiration from artists such as Joan Eardley and Maggi Hamling.
