Lovely wind swept painting :).

You captured the coldness and loneliness.... A unique style you have. A lot of freedom in your brush strokes.

Hi Thanks for your comments. I have been looking at the drawing today and in reply to Jenet's comment, I think it may have been the colour change on the scan, it makes it too bright a blue and the green are way out. The original drawing is quite dark, as it is on tinted, mustard coloured paper.

Here is one of those lovely stone-built crofthouses, found in the wilds of the landscape on the Isle of Lewis. I find them full of character, whilst all the Scottish colourists paint modern white washed crofts in brightly coloured mountains.
