This is a superb painting Dawn. Great detailing. I like how the water is shown ebbing through the painting and that lovely shimmer in the right hand corner.

I spent a week here on holiday. The compostion captures the place perfectly. I love the colours, the rocks and reflections on the water. The boats and buildings are perfect.

I painted this one a few years back of the beautiful Staithes in North Yorkshire. It was one of those paintings when you know it will turn out ok, the composition felt just right. I have a love of boats and the sea and have painted them many times.
