This is good drawing Dawn. Would make a great painting. Do not be fussy about the fur. But make sure you get those dark shapes set in first then the medium then a few high lights. The bases of good painting is drawing and you have that basically.

Thanks, John. I was hoping for some advice. Even better it has come from someone whose work I have admired on here. I will have a go at painting it. What medium do you suggest? I have never used watercolours, but I am willing to give them a go.

Watercolour can be difficult to control when you begin. Try oil or acrylic. Keep it simple best not to get into fussy details. If you do it like the drawing simple strong and bold it will come out good.
