Lovely muted colours, I like to see acrylic used as watercolour. Suggest you crop the painting so we get the image only and use the contrast area on the computer to brighten up the picture generally. Good stuff!

Thanks for your comment Tim. I generally use pen and acrylic but this time used a brush for a more broken line . I am trying to loosen up but find it difficult. I use a limited pallette and I like skies that are atmospheric . My hero is Turner . I am now leaving the pen aside and concentrating on pure Acrylics as in oils.

I like your use of ink and acrylic (which i thought was watercolour), your skies work well and I like the strong foreground shadow. People always say they want to 'loosen up' but i like to see different approaches, detailed or simplified.

I wouldn't have known at first sight that this wasn't a watercolour, and I mean that as a compliment, because it's not easy to capture fluid washes in acrylic.
