Inside the walls of Castle of Obidos in Portugal
For this watercolour painting I use a photo by a great photographer in Guernsey. His photos are amazing and he always lets me use them for inspiration. I loved the old walls with decaying paint and the hanging flowers. I used a rough 300g paper and a lot of wet and dry brush work to give the walls a decaying effect.
