For a struggling effort it's very good indeed. The light coming through is great, very Dennis like. Stick with the loose approach, as it's definitely paying off.

Wish my struggles came out like this! Very good use of the medium, the people are very well observed and as everyone has said the use of highlights works well. I also like your more detailed work.

You.ve manafged to create the feel of the rush up the narrow streets. I particularly like the hint of the curve. Carry on with this 'new' approach.
