Reflecting on Surplus Lighthouses by David Reeves, Cspwc, Sca

A few years ago the government declared about one-thousand lighthouses in Canada surplus offering them up to private owners or organizations to take them over. Consequently some have since been destroyed, one in particular to me near where I live. This painting expressed my feelings on the subject along with a song I wrote for my recent MA in music on the same topic. Full sheet on watercolour paper, 30" w x 22" h
