This a great drawing. The splash of colour makes it.

Well done - like it. And that is a seriously impressive propelling pencil.

A great drawing, lovely to see work in progress.

Good drawing, David. Is this something you intend to develop further? Even if it remains as a sketchbook idea, it's good work.

I like this very much David, very striking piece. A friend of mine uses a battery eraser and she gets some terrific results with tones.

Its just a sketchbook study, I am enjoying pencil sketches since its so convenient not having to change/wash brushes and mix colour... I used to drive past these boundary markers every day they are silver with red and a bit of white and drawing this means if I ever need to sketch a dragon I think I have a bit of a clue how they go now. Concerning the electric eraser, I saw it on ebay dirt cheap so thought I would try it, I do tend to smudge pencil around so its handy to be able to accurately remove it and keep the white bits white.

Nicely drawn and a great subject.

Great drawing - wonder if he is as fierce as he looks!

About the Artist
D Hillman

Inspired by an artist friend I came back to paint a bit at the end of 2017. At the moment I am enjoying it and maybe because I have the patience to look more than I once did I am finding it easier and more enjoyable to actually produce a likeness.
