I saw some interesting techniques on YouTube showing the use of rock salt to produce some interesting effects in background washes. I decided to have a go and used some photos of the wife of a mate of mine as the basis for the project. Distinctly 'splashier' than my usual style, I really enjoyed the liberating feeling of letting loose a bit. It helps that Rachel is as pretty as she is, but the result is striking....I hope you agree.
