An attempt to copy one of my favorite artists, Isaak Levitan. 24x30 in. Water-soluble oil. The Lake was his last painting, remaining unfinished due to his death. I thought I'd try to finish it, but in trying to copy him I ended up with a similar unfinished appearance. I never really attempted to change anything. But it was still a good learning experience. As a side note, I can't believe there isn't a good book of his works.
