Very recognizable - Charlie the border terrier, my landlord's dog whom I'd known just about all her quite long life, died last year: I well remember picking burrs out of her chin whiskers (a hazardous undertaking), persuading her to relinquish something she'd picked up and shouldn't have done, occasionally taking her for walks, discovering her under my dining table when I brought fish and chips home or cooked dinner - never quite sure how she got in, but she always did. And while Charlie was a bitch, I know that look. She might have been, and definitely was, an old devil - who lived long enough to become somewhat senile, but still characterful: and you've caught the character of the breed, the alertness, the intelligence, in this painting.

Beautifully observed David. They look quite mischievous and delightful.

I like these guys Very much!! Well Done.

Two wonderful canine characters beautifully painted!

Another wonderful duo, so very well painted and full of personality
