Thank you all for your comments. I’m glad that the light works quite well as I tried particularly hard to achieve this. If I’m honest I’m rather disappointed with the sky as it now appears too pale against the rest of the painting and I might revisit this. I do love the old railway posters, although I’m not really trying for that here I am rather pleased with your comparison. I am, however, trying not to get to bogged down in detail although that is so hard not to do.

Great work Michael it has an old railway poster look to me, I don’t mean that in a negative way.

The handling of the colour green is an achievement.
