Lovely loose painting Catherine with those scudding clouds and wonderful treatment of light, especially in the foreground with those delightful figures.

A quick oil sketch for this evening, a little looser than my usual style but I’ve decided to leave it rather than overwork it as I think it captures the moment nicely, what do you think? It’s a little lighter in real life the photos makes it look much darker. ‘Pictures in the Sand’ Oil on Canvas, 62 x 52cm inspired by my recent trip to Cornwall
