hi beatrice,jeanette and carole thanks for your comments on the work.i really appreciate it.in regards of your question beatrice ,this is a woodcut .it is carved on a 30cm x 30cm piece of japanese plywood and then printed using an etching press on to hahnemuhle paper.i use an ink roller to ink up the woodplate ,place it on the printing press bed and ,put pape ron top and press it through the etching press. idid this one in an edition of 40 and priced them at £95 with a mount and cellophene wrap.the carving takes a while but is a lot quicker to do than some of my paintings .anyway thanks for your interest and hope your paintings are also gong well. cheers connor www.connormaguire.com
