Those trees are a lovely shape Brett…perhaps could be quite a bit darker under the canopy… the trunks and foliage in fact. You’d find watercolour paper much more interesting to paint on, it has a surface rather than smooth cartridge…

I will go on to watercolour paper. I’m just using what I have around at the moment. The other thing is that when I begin things it takes me a while to warm up and reach the proficiency I want and have come to expect in time. So I don’t feel like wasting good and expensive paper in the process.
