Super watercolour Colin, so good to see correct shadow colours, unfortunately many artists use paynes grey which ruins what might be a good painting. Like the colouring and composition.

Thank you all for your kind comments. No, David, I never use Paynes Grey or black, though some manage to do so effectively. I prefer to use the complimentary colours. The shadows in this picture were mainly Ultramarine with Permanent Alizarin Crimson or a touch of Burnt Sienna.
