Looks impossibly difficult to paint to me, so I am really impressed with this painting. Aren't the simple ones always the best.

Clive, you have done something I would never be able to do. ( My folds would end up square! ) That piece of cloth is so well drawn, one can feel the softness of it. Bravo!!

Oh goodness I hadn't realised it was acrylic. I thought it was pencil. In that case and even bigger well done. Superb blending.

After an inspired art lesson about the depicting texture of soft cloth and looking at the work of Allison Watt - I did this little study to see how hard it is to get that soft folded shading of tone that you get with the right lighting.
