Hi Clive Thanks for your comments on 'Line' from my gallery. I posted a reply but thought I would look you up an say it personally. Rolina's book is so inspiring and I hope you will get round to doing some of her exercises. You were right they do look like bottles! It wasn't intentional but I do like a glass of red wine, it helps the thought process. I think it's really hard to be abstract..Your brain is always fighting to make sense of the painting and unfortunately the hand obliges. Also trying not to copy is also hard. I love the colours in this painting and you have done a great job capuuring the texture and clean feel of the autumn air! Cheers Pat
