I love those cliffs Clare and the contrasting tones. Did you actually paint from your canoe, or from photos!?

Thanks for all your comments - I'm pleased that I've managed to portray the ruggedness of the rocks. Tessa - no I didn't paint from the canoe, although I'd love to be able to say I did! I took photos and produced the painting afterwards. However I do quite a lot of en plein air painting around the cliffs here in Cornwall.
