Even so, you've done it well. Granted, I'm extremely soft on dogs, but I love the character in this chap's eyes and mouth, and the set of his head. Lovely pinks in the ears, and an imaginative backdrop.

A lovely perky, cheeky chappie here. The eyes (expression) and nose are all important, and you have handled his coat very well.

Very nice, I too paint dogs. You've chosen lovely colours to define his fur. believe me black dogs are even harder. You've caught his expression very well.

I have only just seen this on the side gallery I've only been on the site this year that's why. Just had to say though this is a lovely watercolour of a Westie and yes they are hard enough to do in pastel so you have done a great job.
