Started this on holiday last week in Cornwall En Plein Air, but heavy rain stopped play. Was painting on a watercolour block so managed to save what was left of my early washes by stuffing it quickly into my bag. Took a quick reference photo. A week later completed the painting at home. The sky I ended up with matched the mood, so I won!
