Really well done Christof, mountains are my second home and first love. I think you have captured the structure of the spires beautifully with the fault lines and shadows and the cloud and distant ridge lines give a real sence of depth and grandeur to the whole thing, nice one.

"Drei Zinnen", South Tirol, Italy, 56x38cm, Watercolour on Arches 300g rough. I painted the mountain scene this morning. It is a gift for my brother in law Reinhold, who has his 50th anniversary today. He joined me and my friends for the hike around this most famous Dolomite rock monuments.
