This evening view my friends and I enjoyed when we spent one night at the mountain hut Rifugio Lavaredo (2344m) in South Tirol, Italy. After a short thunderstorm the sky cleared up and allowed the setting sun to illuminate the mountain peaks in front of our hut. I made some sketches and painted this watercolour at home in my studio.
