Fantastic painting Christine. I’ve used that paper only a couple of times but haven’t noticed the effect you mentioned.

Never used that paper but your result is superb. The blue is almost iridescent and the wonderful details of the feathers stand out beautifully against the dark background.

Pastels and pastel pencils on Canson mi-teintes pastel paper. Sunday afternoon relaxation in these difficult times. I found the paper great for pastels but the black marked very easily. Has anyone else found this?
