brilliant charcoal work, how big is it? what sort of charcoal are you using?what paper is it? sorry about all the questions - I have recently been trying charcoal myself, yours are so good I'm hoping to get some tips

The drawing is 80 x 65cm. I use mostly charcoal pit extra soft on Fabriano paper. The pit makes dark marks. That way you get a very dramatic effect. Good luck with your charcoal work. It is such a pleasing medium.

Beautiful drawing, one can almost touch the fabric. As you say, charcoal is a wonderful medium - I like it for skin too.
