Acrylic on canvas 50x40cms. I love the red paintings of interiors by Matisse, the way the reds flow into each other and the interior is described in a drawn way. This painting takes the colours up several notches into a more raspberry mode - I think probably unconsciously inspired by the luscious pinks abounding in the flowerbeds at the moment…
