A good idea to mix a single colour green and modify it from that, I don’t paint much green, but I usually start with a lemon yellow and phthalo blue as my base. This is a delightful piece Chrissie!

Very nice. I have a variety of green I like to make make my own shade with yellow and black.

A small acrylic on wood panel 8x8inches. Sometimes I like to choose a single colour and work on from that. In this case it was a mid green. I used it straight from the tube and also mixed with a couple of yellows to modify it. After that the palette wandered a bit...
