This is a subject inspired by a small fishing lake in Glen Clova , one of the Great Glens in Scotland. I spent a day making sketchbook paintings in every passing place [safe to park for a bit] along the very narrow road through the glen. This is the first painting made using these sketches as a starting point and I hope to do many more! Acrylic on panel 11x9nches approx.
