I really like how you have painted this. Lots of drama to it.

I was there and wrote up an account of the event. We were off Rockall for two weeks including a severe gale. Thanks for the lovely comments

A Seaking Mk 1 of 819 Naval Air Squadron based at HMS Gannet, Prestwick. assisting in the placing a beacon on the isolated rock of Rockall in the Atlantic in June 1972. Two Seaking helicopters were involved operating from the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Engadine. The operation took two weeks and was successful. I know as I was there and took photographs!
