Wow - what a super painting! Not being much of a sailor I do not think I could have coped with such waters!!

Fantastic painting of these two ships, and monochrome too, they look amazing and such a dramatic atmosphere too!

No they did not reach the heads (Naval term for the toilets) and the mess was indescribable

I was in the Acute and we sailed head into a force 10 gale. It was horrendous with everyone being seasick and the mess everywhere in our messdeck. Sailors being sick in the hammocks etc. I have tried to capture the seas
