It's lovely Chito. I like the shadow effect on the pathway. The misty distance is great too.

A super painting and I agree with Carole about the shadowy pathway.

Thanks for your kind words, unfortunately I have to disappoint you. It's not really a pathway. It's actually one big piece of rock that has cracks and submerged in a very shallow lake water. I guess I will have one long title for this painting for the explanation. Just the same we all see differently, which is a good thing. chi2

Beautiful colours in the foreground and I agree with the comments on the misty distance, super!

A bit of red in the green? Or a duller mixture in the first place, eg ultra and raw sienna? Actually, I like your greens ... it's easy in acrylic: just glaze over any over-bright greens with, eg, burnt sienna, or orange. But you probably need to vary your blue if you want a less green green; still, I find them cool enough to be quite convincing in this.

I agree with the above: your green is ok to me. But as Robert proposes: adding a little raw or burnt sienna or yellow ochre can make green softer.

Chito a brilliant gallery and a great style. Your greens are ok for me. I to paint green and using a lot of green in a painting and making it look convincing can be very difficult

Second installment of the thousand island trip. 15 x 22 Saunders 140. I still find my greens too green, need to infuse other colours with it . Need to be more fearless on the palette.
