I love the atmosphere in this - certainly bitter - menacing trees which I like. Lovely.

It was worth the struggle Charles, because you have produced a most attractive image, and the colours are super.

Beautiful, Charles! I love the way your paintings always look as it there is something interesting round the corner!

Not only a brilliant painting, but a brilliant technique - must be incredibly difficult to do? Ordinary watercolour on white paper is hard enough!

Amazing painting. Am still trying together my head around how you do it. How do you use a transparent medium onto black? I am assuming you add body colour? Please let me into your very clever secret.

Gosh Charles , you're not easy on yourself, but you have suceeded in producing a wonderful painting full of interest and colour. I'm struggling to get watercolour on white paper! x

Another stunner Charles - so well captured.

I agree with the above a stunning painting

Beautifully done, Charles! One of the best in a superb portfolio.

Such a lovely light on the stream, I like the mood of this one.

This is again a real eye-catcher, Charles. The above said it all much better than I ever could, so I agree with all the other comments: stunning!
