I agree with you about the multiple postings!!!!!!! All of a sudden I am on page 8 or 9!!! Anyway, this is a very beautiful painting, Charles, like all the others in your gallery. I love the contrast between the sunny part and the dark foreground. Thank you for commenting on my work.

greens is what makes our country, and now we have had the rain it certainly is green. I find landscapes difficult because of all the greens so it is a skill you display so beautifully. I love the added detail of the red. You portray our beautiful countryside so well.

Really like this one Charles, just getting round to browsing your portfolio,and some great paintings. I like the way you have handled the greens, and the composition along with the red figure which always catches the eye, always try to have a bit of red somewhere in my own paintings, and thanks again for info re loading everyrhing onto one portfolio, slowly beginning to get the hang of it all .

Painted on Bockingford 250 rough. Painted from a photo taken at the bottom of Youlgrave village. To the left of the painting a lady is sat reading under the tree. I will paint this at a later date. ---- I posted this at an earlier time but due to multiple entries posted again ---GRRRRRRRRRRRR------- Its still more of my greens
