is this your heaven? it looks a lovely place charles!

Marvellous painting and it certainy looks a like a little piece of heaven.

This is really lovely, Charles! A change from your woodland paintings, but every bit as arresting. There's a lot of atmosphere and charm in this painting.

Indeed, this two pieces are different. but very delightful as usual... very well done..

William I called this painting heaven because their is only 4-5 more building besides the ones you see in the village and one of them is a PUB [ thats were I took the photo from] very difficult to get to,you have to walkj walk one mile over the sands or two mile road walk through a golf course [ no cars]. If you want to go by car you need to cross the sands by 4 wheel drive---but do not get caught by the tide

I agree with the above comments and the name suits the painting

a massive change to your excellent woodlands, but no less skillfully done. Definately one of my favorites of your gallery.

Looks like a very beautiful place to be. Lucky you! I like the painting too!!

Such a lovely composition, with the red boat energising the greens, and the hillside behind, and everything snuggling together beautifully.

Hi Charles (this is "that Ann Cook" - who actually lives just up the road from Fiona!). I think I like this one particularly as it is a slightly different palette from your usual. (Have you done any snow scenes?)
