This is the final of a series of three studies of the Aborigine. It is a portrait of an Aborigine child. The support was from a pastel paper cartridge pad. Produced by using hard pastel pencils for a more defined line, and soft pastel to fill in colour. This is the first time I have used pastels. The challenge was to overcome the anxiety of using a new medium. The painting is A3 in size.
