Lovely set of three portraits. You are right - the Aboriginal face is so characterful and distinctive. Great job.

This painting is a series of three. It is a portrait study of an Aborigine male. I find that the Aborigine has distinct facial features, particularly the older the subject is. I found the hair and ageing facial features a challenge to draw. The study is done in pastel. using pastel pencils to define certain areas and soft pastel to fill in colour. The support is acid free cartridge paper. The painting is Framed in a black frame, mounted, sealed and signed. The painting is A2 in size, and the frame measures Height 76cm width 64cm.
