Ooh Chandra I love your story, it sounds like the start of a book😀 I think you should carry on and finish it. As for the painting its lovely, reminds me of the Northern Lights.

The boathouse stands, silent sentinel of the riverbank, waves gently lapping it’s walls in the evening breeze. The Light is fading fast, night draws near, and the nightingale sings in the darkened woods.
