I saw them on the American side of the Rockies last year. You've captured a lot of the atmosphere and the rather high-strung character of these shy animals, Chandra.

Thank you, Carole, Alan and Seok! I was inspired to paint this because I was struck by how well the sheep were camouflaged as they negotiated the narrow paths, and rocky and terrain.
