This is stunning Cesare.

Tremendous potential you have Cesare, this is so good.

This is a lovely portrait Cesare. Isn't it a shame that some crafts belong to the past!

Thanks so much, Timothy, I'm flattered by your generous comment, but I don't know if I am able to paint this portrait in oil. I will try.

Cesare, just brilliant

Very good Cesare another super painting

I like the restricted and subdued palette you have used Cesare. Your portraits get better and better.

Many thanks Jenny, Cliff, and Marjorie for your kind appreciations.

beautifully painted Cesare

From father to son, you made an excellent job of this one Cesare - fabulous portrait.

Many thank David and Frank for your kind comments much appreciated.

Cesare, painting portraits in Watercolour is more risky and demanding than painting in Oil. You surely know how to handle the medium. A great portrait!!!

Many thanks, Beatrice, for your kind comment and for your encouraging words.

Watercolour on Canson paper 300 gr. A4. "Ganzer" is an old Venetian craft. The ganzer approached with a hook the gondola to the shore and held her while people were going up. Now this job no longer exists. I made this portrait from a photo my father took in Venice. It was his favourite pastime and he was a good photographer.
