Very nicer portrait Cesare, and very brave. Doing a portrait of one's family is something that requires confidence and ability. It looks like you've pulled it off with great skill.

Very handsome portrait of a very handsome young man Cesare.

Thank you all for your kind and generous comments much appreciated.

Love the technique - such soft marks and so well painted.

Another splendid portrait Cesare . I tried a different paper last week and nothing worked out everything went in the bin in frustration , I'm going to stick with Arches

Many thanks, Michael and Dermot, for your kind comments much appreciated. Hi Dermot, I tried Arches but I found this paper is hard for me. I find it gets soon dirthy with graphite.

lovely work and fabulous colours

Many thanks Gudrun and Stephanie.

A very expressive piece, Cesare, full of live and personality. Excellent work.

Thanks so much, Seok.

Watercolour on Magnani paper, 100% cotton, 140 lb., 25 x 35 cm. This is the paper I found hard to manage. Now I wetted both sides of the paper before paint and I controlled better and longer the washes.
