Like how you've painted this. I think the shadows are fine but the painting could benefit from more detail on the building on the left? Hope that helps.

Thanks for all your kind comments. My reasoning for limiting detail detail in the left hand houses was to concentrate the eye on the end cottage, which was what caught my attention first.
